Cork, you write so well, chronicling your spiritual journey, up, down and sideways. It is not easy, the journey toward God. Papa is kind and patient and also relentless in His love and nudging towards us. He puts up with a lot but also looks at the heart and not the surface. You are a "digger", like me. Blessings! Wendy
I am still stuck on the thought of the ex girl still "being happy in her pursuit of the truth" and you being unsatisfied in it. Were you pursuing the same truths? If not, then one of you was connecting differently with what they knew to be true.
Hey Melissa - Thanks for the comment. Sorry if that wasn't clearly written. My point was that the whole culture there is Eugene was oriented around pursuing an ever=evolving state of "enlightenment" by whatever means possible. Ronna was happy and satisfied with that pursuit. I, on the other hand, believed and instinctively knew that there was THE TRUTH which could be known and embraced. Ultimately, I came to realize that that truth was found in Jesus Christ. As my story unfolds, you will see how I came to understand that and embrace it. In the New Age Culture, to say that there is "THE TRUTH" is like heresy. To that culture, truth is always evolving, so we cannot come to the ultimate and final Truth. Stick with me. it should become clear soon enough.
