Wow, so good, Cork! We always think we have time to have these conversations…until we don’t!

Cork, this was a very moving and impassioned call to action. I appreciate your dedication to the writing of this. Having come to God and His Son in my childhood and falling away due to grief in my youth, I wandered as a Prodigal for 35 years. It is only the MERCY of God that called and called and called me back to Him. I am grateful beyond words and will never wander again. Eternity with God and His Son is worth all the troubles of the world. Thank you for writing this piece! Wendy

You're welcome, Wendy. And thank you for reading and commenting.

I started this piece a while back. It has been parked in my Drafts folder for a while. Finally got it finished yesterday. Apprieciate your support.

BTW, Chapter Seven of my Memoir will publish in the morning. You'll identify with it, I'm sure. Hope you like it.

Cork, writing is hard, plain and simple. Like any other realm of art, it can uplift and it can also drain and overwhelm. Pouring out our hearts in the written word is both inspiring and exhausting. I know the price you pay, as do I. God works through us, guiding and redeeming us step by step. Just the reality of what you wrote about the sincere man and the dying elder lady, that really hit home for me. We cannot know the day of our departure to Eternity…but we can know to Whom we belong. God bless and keep your pen and keyboard writing, they are heard and appreciated. Bless you, Wendy
