She sounds like a wonderful lady, Cork. Treasure those memories and pass them on every chance you get. I fear that we are losing too much of that history as families simply don't converse and communicate the way we once did. Our past generations passed on legacies and lessons that simply cannot be found staring at a screen.

This is lovely, Cork. I lost Dad and Mom in 2021 and 2022. Spent this last week tag-teaming with my husband's siblings with both of his parents in ER/admissions (93 & 97). He is touch and go. She's doing better but having to be wheeled to his building for visits while she grieves his possible passing. All believers, but still hard.
