Wow, it is amazing how God just made everything start falling into place in your life, Cork. I am sure that it almost gives you chills in looking back at in this way. Good stuff, my friend.

It truly is amazing and more than chills sometimes. Gobsmacked is how I think of it.

As Popeye would say, "Shiver me timbers, Olive".

So glad you liked this chapter, Melissa. And not to give anything away, but next week you’ll get to meet my (then soon to be) wife. We were married the following year.

...OK I shall wait one week if I must. Of course (with the exception of God) this appears to be the absolute most exciting part of the story. I love a story with love in it (and God is love!) I am so glad that you were "born again." It is so funny because that phrase used to have a bad connotation for me. People who were, unlike you, instead of wanting to share the love they wanted the opportunity to tell you that you were not "Christian enough" unless you paid money to buy into their program... which is why you re-centering upon the real meaning of "born again" and how that leads you not only to God but God-filled people. Blessings (again) to You and Yours.

Cork, blessings on your continuing and inspiring story. Coming to faith in God and His Son can be a bumpy ride, filled with ups, downs and sideways. Salvation is truly the GIFT of God and how grateful I am for it. Your nascent enthusiasm after being saved is fully understandable. Papa God is so patient and merciful to us, as we stumble along and learn. The entire book of Ephesians is just FILLED with encouragement and great wisdom and is actually one of my favorite books in all the Bible. Thank you again for sharing your journeys toward God! Wendy
